Terms and Conditions for Wash Haus (NSW) Pty Ltd

General Use

By using the facilities at Wash Haus (NSW) Pty Ltd, you agree to comply with the terms and conditions outlined herein. These terms are subject to change without prior notice.

Hours of Operation

Our laundromat is open from 7 am to 10 pm (Macquarie Park) and 7 am to 11 pm (Artarmon), 7 days a week. We reserve the right to change the hours of operation at our discretion.

Machine Usage

Only use machines for their designated laundry purposes. Only wash and dry items that are suitable and allowed to be washed/dried. Pet items are only allowed to be washed/dried in the clearly marked pet washer/dryer at Artarmon. Check machine before each use. Ensure pockets are empty. Do not overload machines. Do not add extra detergent to machines that are automatically injected with Wash Haus’ detergent and softener. Wash Haus does not guarantee that stains will come out in the wash. Customers are welcome to add stain remover products to the laundry. It is the customer’s responsibility to select an appropriate wash cycle. The drying time and temperature must be selected according to volume, material and desired level of dryness.

Please pick up your laundry promptly after it is finished! This is a shared facility, and other customers are waiting to use the washers and dryers. Waiting customers are allowed to take the washing out of the machines and put it on the benches or in laundry baskets.

Wash Haus (NSW) Pty Ltd is not in any way responsible for any damage to clothing, items, or personal property left in the machines, on the premises or incorrect machine usage.

Corporate Customers

Wash Haus (NSW) Pty Ltd welcomes boutique style corporate customers. Special corporate rates are available for the Macquarie Park location only. Corporate customers are not allowed to store their laundry bags in the shop. The entrance and sitting areas as well as the access to all doors must be kept clear. There is a storage cage available at Macquarie Park. Corporate customers must ensure that they leave the premises in an acceptable condition. Finished loads must be removed from the machines promptly. Corporate customers must give other patrons a go as soon as one of the machines they are using is finished. The limit of laundry bags for Artarmon is 10, the limit of bags for Macquarie Park is 20.

Payment

Payment for machine use is due at the time of service and can be made via credit card or debit card with payWave. Apple Pay, Google Pay or Android Pay are also available. Refunds are only issued in the event of a machine malfunction. Vouchers may be issued but it is at the sole discretion of Wash Haus (NSW) Pty Ltd.

Personal Property

The laundromat is not responsible for any lost, stolen, or damaged personal items. Please ensure you remove all belongings promptly from machines after use.

Conduct

Customers are expected to behave respectfully towards other patrons and staff. Disruptive, abusive, racist, or unlawful behaviour will result in immediate removal from the premises.

Safety

Children under the age of 16 must be supervised. You can leave the premises and leave your laundry and/or laundry baskets unattended at your own risk. Report any malfunctioning machines or safety hazards immediately – call Kirsten on 0476 640 468.

Equipment Malfunctions

Wash Haus (NSW) Pty Ltd is not responsible for any items lost, damaged, or altered due to machine malfunctions. In the event of a malfunction, customers should report it promptly, and we will address the issue as soon as possible.

Cleanliness

The premises are cleaned on a regular basis. Should the laundromat’s cleanliness ever be below your expectations, please call Kirsten on 0476 640 468 and the situation will be rectified promptly. Please help to keep the laundromat clean, dispose of waste in designated bins and report any mess immediately. Please shake pet items properly before putting them in the pet machine at Artarmon.

Privacy

We respect your privacy. We do not collect or store any personal data unless required for payment/refund processing or to comply with local regulations.

Liability

Use of the laundromat facilities is at your own risk. Wash Haus (NSW) Pty Ltd is not liable for any damage to personal property or injury while on the premises. By continuing to use the services of Wash Haus (NSW) Pty Ltd, you agree to the terms and conditions outlined above.

Amendments

Wash Haus (NSW) Pty Ltd reserves the right to amend or update these terms and conditions at any time without prior notice. Please review regularly for any changes.
